Black Box is demonstrating a new digital KVM Nano-Matrix Switch. The DCX3000 is a 30-port
digital KVM matrix switch for multiple users in smaller broadcast studios and data centers. This
cost-effective nano-matrix KVM switch is smaller than 1RU and supports up to 30 endpoints.
The unique graphical user interface moves away from traditional text-based on-screen display
menus, and uses preview thumbnails to improve usability.
The space-saving switch uses Server Access Modules (SAMs) powered by the interface to extend
DVI or DisplayPort signals over CATx. The system extends signals over CATx cable, 30 feet (10 m)
from the KVM switch to the workstation, and 164 feet (50 m) from switch to CPU.
