Corning’s Thunderbolt Optical cables are rated up to 10 Gbps dual- channel, bidirectional, and when used with a Thunderbolt 2 host and Thunderbolt 2 devices up to 20 Gbps bidirectional. Data and video are carried on a single cable, and up to six Thunderbolt devices can be daisy-chained. The ultra-slim, “zero-bend” radius cables are hot-swappable and have an electrically isolated, noise-reducing design. Thunderbolt Optical cables are a Class 1 laser product for use with self-powered peripherals only.
Corning’s USB 3.Optical cables are compatible with most USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices. The cables are hot-swappable and have built-in overcurrent protection. The ultra-slim “zero-bend” radius cables are rated up to 5 Gbps. These cables require no external power supply.
