Dell EMC

Booth SL9111 Dell EMC (formerly EMC) is showing products that run the gamut from post-production to workstations, networking and storage.

The company is highlighting applications of its Isilon scale-out storage, which features more than 50 petabytes of file-agnostic storage.

In conjunction with Isilon storage, Flame (Autodesk’s application for interactive 3D visual effects, finishing, compositing, editorial and “look” development) is intended for an uncompressed 4K production workflow.

Dell EMC is also showing Adobe Team Projects with Isilon, offering efficient and collaborative post-production workflows. Team Project data is hosted in the cloud and can locally store source files or shared lightweight proxies.

Object Storage is a cost-effective alternative to tape, according to the company.
