Booth N6510 Arrakis Systems is showcasing its new DARC Virtual Console and DARC Surface Digital console, which are part of the company’s AoIP line. The DARC Virtual Console is a mixing console that runs virtualized in a Windows PC environment. The DARC Virtual Console is configured to run four-, eight-, 12- or 16-channel configurations. The DARC Virtual Console can be run as a standalone unit or in conjunction with an AoIP network with multiple studios. It will control any Dante-enabled audio device on a user’s LAN. The DARC Surface is Arrakis’ digital AoIP console, which works in conjunction with the DARC Virtual Console software. It gives users a physical interface that can control audio levels, specific inputs and outputs, and display assignments on built-in OLED displays. The eight-channel version will be available this summer, while the 12- and 16-channel models will be available in Q4.
