Booth C8626 NAB Show serves as the launching pad for intoPIX’s next generation of TICO units, the TICO-XS IP cores for Intel and Xilinix FPGAs.
The new IP cores deliver eight, 10 and 12-bit capability, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 color sampling, HD to 4K at up to 60fps. TICO-XS encoder and decoder IP cores fit onto the smallest Inteland Xilinix FPGAs and require no additional memory. They also enable a firmware upgrade of existing FPGA-based systems. With SMPTE ST 2110-22, live production workflows can move to networked IP and target COTS equipment.
The TICO-XS has microsecond latency, high-quality bandwidth and bandwidth ranging from 100 Mbps to 400 Mbps for HD and from 500 Mbps to 1.6 Gps for 4K that makes it suitable for any production workflow looking to replace uncompressed video.
