Booth SU6324 Magewell is showing its first standalone, hardware-based streaming encoder this week.
The compact Ultra Stream HDMI enables users to record or stream up to 1080p60 via an HDMI input interface from cameras, Bluray players and game consoles. The encoder also supports 4K HDMI inputs at 60fps with 4:2:0 color subsampling, down-converting them to HD for recording and streaming.
Embedded HDMI audio is complemented by an analog microphone input and a headphone output for monitoring. HDMI loop-through connectivity enables source signals to be sent to a monitor or projector without an HDMI splitter.
Users can stream to platforms such as Twitch, YouTube and Facebook Live or to a custom-specified RTMP server with a single tap. Streams can be simultaneously output to multiple services, in addition to real-time video monitoring in the app.
Configuration is performed via network or Bluetooth connectivity using the iOS or Android app.
