BOOTH N201LMR, N202LMR, N204LMR Red Digital Cinema is introducing a camera whose name might be better suited to something in front of the camera — the Red Ranger.
The heart of the Ranger is the 8K Monstro sensor. There are three digital video outputs: two mirrored and one independent. The Ranger is aimed at high-end studio production.
Ranger captures 8K Red-Code RAW up to 60 fps full format, as well as Apple Pro-Res or Avid DNxHR formats at 4K up to 30 fps and 2K up to 120 fps.
The company says that the camera can simultaneously record RedCode RAW plus Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHD or DNxHR at up to 300 Mbps write speeds. It offers genlock, timecode, USB and control. On onboard fan keeps things cool.
