Booths SL12216, SL12416 KVM specialist IHSE USA is showing the Draco OPS+, a 4K DisplayPort KVM module that is designed for larger ultra-high-definition displays using Intel’s OPS+ open pluggable specification.

The company says that the target market is installers and users of wall-sized displays in need of a 4K and KVM/touchscreen interface extender. This could include clients such as mobile production trucks, training rooms, board rooms, command-and-control centers, museums, kiosks and video wall venues.

The Draco OPS+ is based on IHSE’s DisplayPort CON extender. It can transmit 4K/60 Hz signals at 30-bit 4:4:4 resolution up to 3.1 miles/5 kilometers via a single- mode fiber with minimal latency. The underlying specification is Fraunhofer’s lightweight image coding.

The company says that users have a more cost-effective way to share common computer and server access without the need to install an addition
