Quantum Cloud Looks to Accelerate Rendering

The Quantum Force Media plug-and-play rendering engine makes it easy to set up a rendering farm in minutes.

Quantum Cloud, a pioneer in the development of application-oriented, hyper-converged infrastructure, unveiled three products during an NAB Show press conference.

The products — Quantum Force Media, Quantum Force AI and Quantum NetData — are aimed at accelerating rendering in post production for tasks like visual effects and 3D graphics creation.

A plug-and-play rendering engine all-in-one cloud machine for content creation, Quantum Force Media is designed to be used by media professionals with any level of technical knowledge. The offering makes it easy to set up a professional rendering farm within minutes. Two versions, one for the studio and the other for data centers, are available.

The Beijing-based company also unveiled Quantum Force AI, which leverages the company’s deep learning algorithm to gain a deep understanding of content and the task at hand.

The company’s Quantum NetData is designed for media applications that move massive amounts of data across networks in the content creation process. The product, which Quantum Cloud sees as the next generation of networking architecture, fuses networking and storage. NetData makes it possible for media organizations and others to decentralize storage while protecting content as it is being delivered and shared.

The company is backed by chip designer ARM IOT and Zhiping Capital.
