Computer products specialist Sonnet Technologies has brought a large number of computers, computer interface products and peripherals to the show.
Thunderbolt interfaces are a theme; Sonnet is showing interfaces for USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, eSATA, PCI Express expansion peripherals, card readers and multiformat docks along with desktop and rackmount computers with native Thunderbolt 2 interfaces.
It also has on hand new members of its xMac line of Mac computers. There are an Avid-certified xMac Pro Server and an xMac mini Server. Both are rackmounted and offer Thunderbolt 2 interfaces.
In addition the company is showing Tempo solid-state drives. These are PCIe models, but can be used in Sonnet’s PCIe to Thunderbolt conversion chassis.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing Greg LaPorte said, “Thunderbolt technology continues to be a powerful enabler of high-performance device and display connectivity, especially now that many more computers come equipped with at least one Thunderbolt 2 port.”
