Booth N6506 Audio codec manufacturer Tieline Technology has added new file recording and playback features to its ViA codec.
The new ViA firmware enables users to play prerecorded files and record live audio at any location using “flexible” touchscreen record and playback functions. These include selecting input sources to record; viewing and managing recordings; creating playlists of recordings and imported files; and controlling playback routing to specified codec encoders, as well as analog and digital outputs.
Also, the company’s new Cloud Codec Controller helps users manage ViA and Tieline codecs remotely. It provides online/offline status, connection status, link quality, remote monitoring and adjustment of input levels, plus the ability to remotely dial and hang up connections from the studio, or anywhere with an internet connection. Plus you can launch each codec’s HTML.
