Pavilions Offer More Learning Opportunities on the Show Floor

UAVA drone is tested at the Virginia Tech testing site, one of six test sites established by Congress to collect data on the use of drones.

Along with the new products being showcased in exhibitor booths, attendees to the show floor will find several technology-focused pavilions with more exhibitors and some session offerings to add to their learning opportunities.

 

AERIAL ROBOTICS AND DRONE PAVILION

When it comes to creating killer content, the sky is the limit — literally! One of the hottest topics from the 2014 NAB Show is here, live. The new Aerial Robotics and Drone Pavilion includes an enclosed “flying cage” that gives you an up-close and personal look at this technology in action. ATSC TECHNOLOGY PAVILION

The ATSC Technology Pavilion features technologies related to new and emerging ATSC standards including audio loudness, non-real time, ATSC 2.0 and ATSC 3.0, mobile DTV, broadcast 3DTV and other areas of interest.

CONNECTED MEDIA|IP

The multiscreen viewing experience comes to life in connected media|IP. This is the solutions destination that explores the underlying technologies enabling audiences to receive, discover and interact with content across any device, anywhere. It’s all about IP-focused technology including IPTV, OTT, mobile, social and cloud. And it’s all about consumer engagement and the rising importance of brandcasting. Through exhibits and a full seminar program, connected media|IP will provide you with the tools and knowledge to deliver the ultimate multiscreen audience experience.

NAB LABS FUTURES PARK

Futures Park, a showcase of advanced projects presented by NAB Labs, features demonstrations of high-tech media developments in progress, prototypes and products not yet available for sale, from academic, government and commercial research laboratories in the United States and around the world.

NMX (NEW MEDIA EXPO)

Co-located with NAB Show this year, NMX features some of the most recognized bloggers, podcasters, Web TV content creators and social media visionaries. The conference will include more than 100 educational sessions within new media exhibits and the popular Speed Networking sessions.
